On Modern University Governance

十八届三中全会明确提出,"完善和发展中国特色社会主义制度,推进国家治理体系和治理能力现代化",这为我国大学治理现代化指明了方向。本文从大学治理的内涵、意义、历史演进及实现现代化路径几个方面对其进行阐述,以助于推进我国大学治理变革,重塑大学形象,实现大学的理想与目标。

The 3rd Plenary Session of 18 th CPC Central Committee made it clear that ' to improve and develop the socialist system of Chinese characteristics,and to promote national governance systems and governance capacity modernization',which pointed out the direction for our university governance modernization. The paper elaborates the spirit from the aspects of the connotation,the important significance,the historical evolution and the methods,in order to advance the university governance reform,reshape the image of the university and realize ideals and objectives of the university.
