商务英语专业本科生课外阅读现状的调研分析——基于华南理工大学的问卷调查分析 被引量:1

摘要 基于华南理工大学外国语学院商务英语专业72名本科学生所做的课外阅读现状问卷调查数据,概括商务英语专业本科生课外阅读特征,指出存在的不足,提出改善建议。调研发现,商务英语专业学生对课外阅读有强烈意愿和积极的态度,对自身课外阅读现状及其作用认识清楚,也普遍不满意,但未能改变其每日课外阅读时间少,课外阅读量小,碎片化阅读等现状。为此,教学管理者、教师以及学生应该采取相应措施,积极行动起来,以改善商务英语学生课外阅读现状。 Based on statistical data taken from extracurricular reading survey of 72 business English majors of School of Foreign Languages, South China University of Technology, the general characteristics of extracurricular reading of business English majors are summarized, the existing problems are pointed out, and suggestions for improvement are put forward as well. Investigation found that business English majors have a strong will and positive attitude towards extracurricular reading, a clear understanding of status quo and role of their extracurricular reading which they are generally not satisfied, but failed to change their current situation of scanty daily extracurricular reading time, insufficient reading quantity, fragmented reading, etc.. Therefore, teaching administrators, teachers and students should take appropriate measures to improve current situation of extracurricular reading of business English majors.
