The influence of ICU visit time limit on patients' anxiety and depression

目的探究重症监护病房(ICU)探视时限对患者焦虑、抑郁情绪的影响。方法选择2017年2月至2018年8月于广东省中医院珠海医院就诊入住ICU的80例患者作为研究对象,根据家属及患者意愿选择探视时限,其中30例患者纳入30 min探视组,50例患者纳入60 min探视组,记录患者院内感染情况,于入院第1天及入住ICU第4天采用汉密尔顿焦虑量表(HAMA)进行焦虑评分;采用汉密尔顿抑郁量表(HAMD)进行抑郁评分。结果两组患者入ICU第4天HAMA评分、HAMD评分较入住ICU第1天明显下降(P <0. 05),60 min探视组下降幅度显著大于30 min探视组患者,差异具统计学意义(P <0. 05);两组患者院内感染率比较差异无统计学意义(P> 0. 05)。结论 60 min ICU探视时限有利于改善患者焦虑、抑郁情绪,同时不增加院内感染的风险,值得推广。

Objective To explore the effect of intensive care unit( ICU) visit time limit on patients’ anxiety and depression. Methods To select 80 cases of patients who were admitted to the ICU of Zhuhai Hospital of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from February 2017 to August 2018 as research subjects. According to the selected time limit for visiting by family members and patients,a total of 30 patients were selected as 30 min visiting group,and a total of 50 patients were selected as the 60 min visiting group. The hospitalization infection of patients were recorded. At the 1 st day of hospitalization and the 4 th day in ICU,their anxiety scores were examined by Hamilton anxiety scale( HAMA). The depression scores were measured by Hamilton depression scale( HAMD). Results The HAMA scores and HAMD scores of the patients in the two groups were significantly decreased at the 4 th day in ICU than that of the 1 st day at ICU( P < 0. 05). The decrease in the 60 min visiting group was significantly greater than that of the 30 min visiting group,and the difference was statistically significant( P < 0. 05). There was no significant difference in the in-hospital infection rate between the two groups( P > 0. 05). Conclusion The 60 min ICU visit time limit is beneficial to improve anxiety and depression of patients without increasing risk of hospital-acquired infection,which was worth popularizing.
