高校图书馆应该围绕文化素质教育，深入开展导读工作．大力宣传读书的意义；向学生推荐优秀书目；开展名著导读；举办哲学、文学、美学等方面的系列讲座；开展图书评论；介绍读书方法等，努力为文化素质教育服务．更好地履行其教育职能．

Around the education of students’ cnltural character, the library of colleges and universihes ought to develop deep instruction of reading; to propagate vigovously the imporace of reading; to recommend good books; to instructe the reading of famous works; to hold a course of lectares on philosophy, literatare, aesthehcs, etc; to comment on books and to introduce the methods of reading. to serve hard the educahon of students’ cultural character and to do better its function.
