高职院校大学英语课堂教学效率的现状及对策

Current Situation of English Classroom Instructing Efficiency in Higher Vocational & Technical Colleges and Countermeasures

本文从课堂教学效率的定义出发,根据《高职大学英语课程教学基本要求》(2000()以下简称《基本要求》)的精神,较全面地分析了高职院校大学英语课堂教学效率的现状,如"满堂灌"、师资水平低、教学工作量繁重、大班混合授课、课堂活动形式单一和赶教学进度等诸多因素,进而提出了提高课堂教学效率的对策,即教师要练好基本功、要营造宽松、和谐和愉快的课堂氛围、要讲究教育教学方法以及要摆正位置,突出学生的主体地位等。提高课堂教学效率是高职院校教学质量工程建设的要求,也是高职院校内涵建设的要求。

Based on the definition of classroom instructing efficiency and (2000), this paper fully analyzes the current problems of English classroom instructing efficiency in higher vocational & technical colleges, such as cramming, low-level faculty, heavy teaching burden, mixed and big class teaching, unitary forms of classroom activities and speeding the progress of teaching. Thereupon, countermeasures are offered to improve classroom teaching efficiency, namely, teachers should enhance basic skills, create relaxing, harmonious and pleasant classroom atmosphere, pay attention to education and teaching methods, locate their right role and highlight the dominant position of their students. The improvement of classroom teaching efficiency is the requirement of the teaching quality construction and the connotation construction in higher vocational & technical colleges.
