Relation Between Yan Xishan and Feng Yuxiang During the War Among Warlords in the Light of Mean Philosophy

在军阀混战时期各个军阀之间的关系可谓微妙,时而合作,时而敌对。目的都是为了保存和发展自己。在众多军阀的关系中,阎锡山和冯玉祥的关系是阎成功运用"中的哲学"思想处理的典型。他对冯玉祥出尔反尔,不断违背诺言,极尽反复无常之能事。

In order to protect and develop oneself the warlords cooperated at one time and opposed each other at other times during the war among warlords.In dealing with Feng Yuxiang,Yan Xishan,through his extreme application of Mean philosophy,changed his mind constantly and kept breaking his promises in an attempt to survive the war.
