馆员是高职院校图书馆事业发展的核心力量,本文通过分析高职院校图书馆馆员的素质现状,从职业道德素养的培养、学历学位提升、岗位培训和轮换、激励制度的建立、学科馆员的发展思路等着手提出馆员素质培养的有效途径,力求使馆员的素质更加全面、更加专业、富于个性,以满足读者需求和适应社会信息化的发展。

Librarians are core strength for the development of vocational libraries. The paper, in terms of the current vocational librarian quality status, puts forward an effective approach to cultivate their quality in vocatinal moral quality, academic attainments, on-the-job training, the establishment of motivation system and development of strategy of librarians which will make their quality more all-around, professional and personal to meet the needs of readers and to adapt to the development of the inform ation society.
