口语测试亟待在英语教学中得到加强与重视

Oral tests needs to be strengthened and evaluated in English teaching

口语教学是英语教学的重要目的和手段之一。边远地区高校学生的英语四六级过级难问题说明中小学阶段没有打下良好的基础。尤其是高考英语口语测试结果,学生笔试成绩与口试成绩总体出现两个极端。本文探究了口语教学存在的问题及影响因素,参照发达地区的经验,提出了高中英语课采取口语测试的必要性和可行性。

Oral teaching is one of the important means and purposes in English teaching.College students have poor CET level in remote areas.This is because there is no good foundation laid in the primary and secondary school English teaching.Especially the English speaking test results in their entrance examination also says that there are two extremes in their written exam and oral test.This paper discusses the issue and factors existing in oral teaching in senior high school.With the reference of the developed areas,the paper puts forward the proposition of setting o-ral tests in senior high school English course and its necessity and feasibility.
