D. H. Lawrence is one of the most important British writers in the twentieth Century,whose works are quite controversial and many are affected by his childhood. His works have reflected his hatred towards the industrialization and war as well as his concern about the relationship between two sexes. The typical scenes in D. H.Lawrence's short story 'Ticket,please'have its unique symbolic meanings,which are of great importance to the development of the story. This paper attempts to analyze the characteristic and function of the typical scenes from the perspective of Schema Theory,thus revealing Laurence's hatred for the industrialization and the war as well as his sympathy for women as victims.
