基于概念整合理论的英文经济类新闻隐喻研究

A study on metaphor in English economic news based on conceptual blending theory

首先对Fauconnier,G&Tumer,M.的概念整合理论进行了简单介绍,并对其加以评价,说明了隐喻的具体意义,进而论述概念整合理论对隐喻的理解所起的作用。在此基础上,通过对《经济学人》(Economics)新闻中的隐喻现象进行分析,得出如下结论:隐喻认知的过程可以采用概念整合进行更加清晰的认知,同时,概念整合能够揭示隐喻有助于人们认知经济现象。

This essay presents a brief introduction of the theory of Conceptual Blending initiated by Fauconnier,G &Tumer,M,and makes an evaluation. Then,it analyses how to comprehend the metaphor by means of the application of Conceptual Blending Theory. On this basis,through case study of the examples about metaphors that are chosen from Economics,it get the conclusion that the process of metaphor cognition can use conceptual blending to achieve clearer cognition. At the same time,conceptual blending can reveal that metaphor which helps people to recognize economic phenomena.
