The Research and Development of Intelligent Traffic Lights to Effectively Reduce the Pressure on Urban Traffic

随着私家车的增多,城市交通堵塞问题也越来越严重,研究并开发一种智能交通信号灯,实现路口交通信号灯的智能化是解决路口通行效率的有效方法。智能交通信号灯可以根据路口的车流量大小自动调整交通信号灯的时间,使少车或无车方向绿灯时间自动变短,反之,车多方向绿灯时间自动延长,提高了车辆通行效率。

With more private cars increasing,city traffic congestion problem has become more and more serious.The research and development of intelligent traffic lights to implement the intelligent of the intersection traffic lights is the solution to solve the intersection traffic efficiency.In this paper,the design of intelligent traffic lights can automatically adjust the time of traffic lights according to the vehicle flow rate of intersection to make a green light time shorter automatically in the less cars or no cars direction.On the other hand,the green light time is lengthened automatically in more car direction.It can improve the traffic efficiency,make the traffic lights more intelligent,humanization and scientification.
