Through introducing a supercritical fluid into the conventional methanol synthesis process,a supercritical phase methanol synthetic technology has been developed. This new process can better solve the problems of reaction heat removing from catalyst bed and thermodynamic equilibrium limit. As the reaction and separation are realized at the same time, the one through conversion of CO can be over 90%. The experimental research results are reported in this paper.
