: The function and characteristics of the PC-HDT program for block adjustment by strips accomplished on IBM-PC/XT and its compatible comput- er are introduced in this paper. New reseaches are made on development of mi- cro-computer, optimization of program as well as seeking for new algorithm and measures to offset the effect of the curvature and twist of strips. Practice has proved the validity and reliability of this method.
