语篇翻译中的认知连贯

ON THE COGNITIVE COHERENCE IN CONTEXTUAL TRANSLATION

连贯在语篇翻译中起着重要作用,表明语义的关联性和语篇的整体性。本文指出除了传统的语义连贯、结构连贯之外,提出新的概念——语篇的认知连贯,认为认知连贯是语篇的超文本特征,属于认知的心理过程,分为认知调整和认知补充两种模式。翻译过程中这两种方式都起到了重要作用。

Coherence is a key element in textual translation to demonstrate the semantic coherence and contextual unity. And this paper points out that besides the traditional semantic coherence and structural coherence, we put forward a new concept-cog-nitive coherence. Cognitive coherence, a supertextual characteristic of context and the psychological process in cognition, can be subdivided into cognitive adjustment and cognitive supplement, which play important roles in the prcess of translation.
