为“现代建筑”命名——清华大学研究生课程《现代建筑引论》学生作业评析

To Name "Modern Architecture"——Assessment on the Assignments of Introduction to Modern Architecture for Graduate Students in Tsinghua University

《现代建筑引论》是清华大学建筑学院为研究生开设的一门建筑理论课程。虽然以介绍与'现代建筑'相关的知识为主,但最终的目的在于引导学生抛开已有的关于现代建筑的诸多'定论',通过自己的学习和思考,从根本上重新认识现代建筑。'为‘现代建筑’命名'是课程作业之一,虽然只是短短的500字小论文,但学生的回答五花八门,除了一般的从时间地域、人物事件、美学特征、设计思想等上面来定义外,更多的学生开始从社会理念、意识形态等方面来认识现代建筑,更有学生以隐喻或代码的方式进行表达。论文选取2004-2006年的学生作业进行分析,一方面以此说明当前学生的建筑理论水平,另一方面,希望对丰富现代建筑的认识有所贡献。

Introduction to Modern Architecture is an theoretical course for graduate students in School of Architecture,Tsinghua University.Though the main content is about the basic information pertaining to Modern Architecture,the ultimate objective is to guide the students to get rid of some existing orthodox views of Modern Architecture,and to re-recognize the truth of Modern Architecture through their own thinking.To Name Modern Architecture is one of the assignments from the course.Students have given omnifarious answers to it,in about500 Chinese characters by request.Some thinks it from an ordinary way of time,place,people,event,aesthetic features,designing ideas,and so on,some begins to think from the specific social ideology,and some present it in a metaphorical way.This essay chooses some assignments from year 2004 to 2006 to make an assessment,to show the theoretical competence of the students in one way.In another,the authors hope it could be helpful to enrich the knowledge of Modern Architecture in China.
