摘要
本文通过对天津大学建筑学院和英国诺丁汉大学建筑与环境学院进行毕业设计联合教学全过程的记述,总结英国学生学习过程和设计作品中反映出的可借鉴之处。文章叙述了中、英两国16名学生(分四组)以'近代天津历史博物馆设计及周边城市设计'为题,进行旨在探索如何对历史建筑'近代天津历史博物馆'实现'非橱窗式保护'的建筑设计和城市设计,并通过建筑改建和外部空间改造策略,挽救历史街区经济和生活衰败的命运,力求复兴街区生命力。经过3个多月的工作,学生们提交了各具特点的作品,它们将现状和未来的使用者作为主角,通过改造或加建将新老建筑融为一体,并创建一系列公共活动场所,或为满足人的需求,或为提高人与城市之间的连接。中国学生也在现场调研、策略分析、设计过程、成果展示等环节的共同工作中,领受到英国学生在分析思路、设计内容及团队协作等方面的优点,并学习借鉴之。
According the records of the joint design studio for graduation between the School of Architecture,Tianjin University and the.Department of Architecture and Built Environment,University of Nottingham,this paper summarizes the experience and enlightenment reflected by the British students’learning process and final outcomes.16 students from both China and the UK were divided into 4 groups,they were asked to work on the regeneration of the"Tianjin Modern History Museum"and the urban design of its surrounding area.The supervisors intended to guide them in a"non—show case"way,to revitalize the historic area and to stop the economic and daily life’s decline through strategies of rebuilding and reconstruction of building external spaces.After more than 3 months,the students presented their final outcomes in different formats.They focused on the demands of the local users in the present situation and in the future,united the old building and the new one through transformation or adding,created a series of public spaces for meeting users’s needs or improving the poor connection between people and the city.The Chinese students also learned a lot of advantage on ideas analyzing,design context and team working from the British students’in the process of co-operation on the field investigation,strategy analysis,design process and presentations.
