摘要
70年代初美国缓和同中国关系的主要动机是遏制苏联扩张。在以后相当长的时间里,中美苏“战略大三角”是美国决定对华政策的主要视角。近年来美国调整对华政策有多方面原因,其中最重要的,仍然是苏联因素发生的变化。
The article analyzes the Soviet factor that influenced U.S. policy toward China from 1972 to 1991. It points out that the basis of Sino-U.S. relations was eroded by the U.S.-Sovict reconciliation in the late 1980s, while the Sino-Soviet rapprochement did not make a great impact on U.S. policy. A new basis has yet to be found for improving Sino-U.S. relations.
