The application of complexing centrifugal extraction in the phenolic wastewater treatment unit of the No.3 coking plant of the Shanxi Coking Co.,Ltd.was introduced and such an application solved a very difficult technical prob-lem for treating the highly concentrated phenolic wastewater.As compared with the traditional treatment process,this pro-cess requires less investment,occupies less land space,is more flexible in equipment operation and has lower consumption figures.It not only lessens environmental pollution but also can recover the phenol that exist in the wastewater.
