Functional Genomic Studies of Cotton Fiber Development
摘要
Cotton fibers are single-cell trichomes derivedfrom the epidermis of cotton ovules.Analysis oftranscripts in developing fiber cells may providevaluable information to understand mechanismsregulation fiber initiation and growth,as well asto cotton breeding.We have made an array ofmore than 5000 clones isolated from a cottonovule(and the fiber)cDNA library.
