Based on the case study of two texts-Memoir of Robert Blincoe and Michael Armstrong, this article has first made a reflection on the British Labor Movement of the 19th Century and then,a further study of the values of experience, truth and political and narrative strategy in order to attest that'Truth can never be told so as to be understood, and not to be believed.'
