Role of prataculture in the China Western Development

以加强生态建设 ,改善生态环境为出发点 ,提出了“封出退耕、植树种草、舍饲养畜、林牧主导、强农富民”的生态建设思路 ,合理利用和开发草业资源 。

Improving ecological environment in the western part of China and increasing economic income, grassland resources were protected and exploited. The strategies were proposed as regressing farmland to forestry and pasture, making forestry & husbandry in the dominant position, strengthening agriculture and richening people. Thus prataculture was put on a very important position and possessed a pioneer role in China.
