Building 3D Parts Based on Metal Droplet Deposition Process

摘要 通过对单颗金属熔滴沉积行为的研究,建立了三维实体零件搭接成形数值计算模型,探索了金属熔滴在小空间、大温度梯度下沉积成形中熔体流动、铺展、凝固成形机理,揭示了典型特征截面上搭接成形时,熔滴沉积中的主要特征因素对成形形貌、内部质量的影响。结果表明,在脉冲压力P=0.4 MPa、脉冲频率f=40 Hz、熔体温度T_d=550 K、基板温度T=400 K、基板与喷嘴间距离h_s=5mm、喷嘴直径D_0=0.7mm时,成形制件的层厚S_y=2.22mm,其内部没有明显的孔洞,致密度较好。 Based on the research on single metal droplet deposition behavior, a numerical calculation model of three-dimensional part lap forming was established, and the flowing, spreading and solidification mechanism of molten metal droplets in small space and under large temperature gradient were explored. The typical cross section during lap forming was revealed, and the influence of the main characteristic factors of droplet deposition on the forming morphology and internal quality was influenced. The results show that when the pulse pressure P=0.4 MPa, the pulse frequency f=40 Hz, the melt temperature Td=550 K, the substrate temperature T=400 K, the distance between substrate and nozzle hs=5 mm, the nozzle diameter D0=0.7 mm and the thickness of the forming part Sy=2.22 mm, there are no obvious holes inside, resulting in better density.
