On the Development of China's Trust Industry Under the Frame of WTO

我国信托业问题不少 ,定位不明确 ,资产质量不高 ,资金来源贫乏 ,行政干预过多。信托业发展全球化是大趋势 ,在我国加入WTO的情况下国际信托业必然要进入我国市场 ,这就意味着我国信托业将面临国外同行的激烈竞争。在这种形势下 ,我国信托业必须革除自身存在的问题 ,并按国际惯例进行整顿 ,寻找适合自己发展的道路 ,以使自己在竞争中处于较为有利的地位。

Problems haunt China's trust industry: ambiguity of category; low quality of assets; a shortage of financing; overdrawn administrative intervention. Globalization in China's trust industry is inevitable. In addition, after China's entry into the WTO, international trust companies will enter the China market. As a result, trust industry in China will have to face a fierce competition. Under such circumstance, trust industry in China has to solve the existing problems and operate in accordance with international practices and seek an unique way of its own to attain a favorable competitive position.
