The man-woman relationship,family and marriage have always been one of the importent themes of Lawrence's works.This paper analyzes the evolution process of Lawrence's views on marriage and the man-woman relationship reflected in his works,sums up its process of cocooning and decocooning,and points out that it is the times he lives in and his personal experience that have brought on this kind of evo- lution.
