摘要
在阐述语言测试中“真实性”的含义和重要性基础上,分析真实性与测试有用性内各因素——效度、信度、影响和实用性——之间的相互作用;强调真实性直接影响语言测试质量,同时也受到多方面因素制约。因此,应根据测试目的,从语言使用环境特点、任务特点及考生特点来决定测试的真实性。
After expounding the concept and significance of authenticity in language testing,this paper probes into the relationship between authenticity and test usefulness by analyzing the influence of authentic- ity on validity,reliability,washback and practicality.As authenticity is a decisive element of test quality but its realization is restricted by many factors,the degree of authenticity of a test should be determined in view of the purpose of the test,the characteristics of language use,the characteristics of test task and the characteristics of test-takers.
