阳关,古丝绸之路上的重要关隘。考证了阳关的最早出典、阳关释名以及阳关设置时间和沿革。认为如果仅就“阳关”一词,其最早的文献出处当为《左传》,如果是位于敦煌境内丝绸之路上的“阳关”,其最早的文献记载应归于上述之汉代简牍;阳关在设置之初就不在玉门关之南,其名称由来亦非因玉门关之南而为号了;阳关设置时间应该在武帝元鼎时期(公元前116年至公元前111年)。

Yangguan was one important pass in Silk Road. This paper examines its origination, name explanation, time of setup and history of Yangguan. It holds that the word Yangguan first appeared in Zuo Zhuan, the Yangguan on the Silk Road located at Dunhuang first appeared in inscribed bamboo slips of Han Dynasty, at the beginning of its setup, Yangguan was not located in the south of Yumeng Pass, and thus its name did not derive from the location on the south of Yumeng Pass, and the time for its setup dates back to 116 B.C. and 111 B.C., the period of Emperor Yuanding.
