On the Application of Textual Orientation in the Textual Analysis of Address——Analysis of Bush's Address of War to Iraq

就如何进行演讲辞语篇分析的问题作了简要的探讨,认为语篇指向性(textual orientation)的研究是分析该类语篇的重要方法之一。在阐明语篇指向性基本问题的基础上,结合演讲辞语篇的特点,通过对美国总统布什对伊拉克开战的演讲辞的分析说明了运用语篇指向观点的可行性,并论述了语篇指向性研究在整个语篇分析体系中的应用价值。

This article gives a simple introduction to how to make the textual analysis on the public address and holds that the study of textual orientation is an important way to analyze the public address. Based on the general features of public speeches and combined with the characteristics of public address context, this article exemplifies the analysis of Bush's address of the War to Iraq and explores the feasibility of application of textual orientation in textual analysis of the public address.
