都市文学在我国都市化的历史进程中穿越了尘烟雾霭的遮蔽后终于露出了自己日渐清晰的面庞。追溯都市文学的源流,鸳鸯蝴蝶派应该是绕不过去的渊源,海派文学则应是当代都市文学汲取营养的重镇之一。但无论是鸳鸯蝴蝶派还是海派都在文学史上扮演着不尴不尬的角色,虽然在历史的真实中他们曾风光显耀地占据过文坛和消费市场,但在文学史家的笔下却始终是云遮雾障不明不白的,甚至几乎遭受了灭顶之灾,或受到不公正的评价,或遮蔽在文学史外,直到近来才被逐渐正名,还之以历史的本来面目和应有的评价。

Urban Literature is exposing herself more and more from kinds of covers during the process of urbanization in our country. Tracing the origin of Urban Literature, the 'Mandarin Duck & Butterfly Faction' must be mentioned, and Overseas Literature is also one of the important parts to be fostered from. But neither of them has been glossing in the literature history, although as a truth in history they ever showed off in the literature field and consumer market, but in the opinion of the literature historians their character has been vague & unjustified, even gone to the edge of destruction and got inequitable evaluation, and repulsed from the literature history. Until these days, they get gradually the fame and are to be discovered of the true feature and appraisal which they should deserve.
