Control and Reduction of Total Population: Optimization of Population Structures

通过选择人口年龄结构、人口出生性别结构、人口产业结构和人口教育结构4个主要结构问题来说明:与主张通过放宽生育政策来优化人口结构的结论相反,坚持从紧控制生育从而进一步减少生育数量并早日转入减少人口总量的进程,恰恰才是优化人口结构和加速提高人民生活水平的真正出路。

By the analysis of the structural statuses of age structure, sex ratio at birth, industrial distribution and the educational composition of China’s population, this paper brings to light that the only way out for speeding up the improvement of population structures and living conditions is to further reduce the fertility and thus to deduct annual total births. In order to switch to the decreasing course of total population as soon as possible, the finding of which is against the opposite way of appealing for the loosening of the birth control policy.
