After comparing several translations of the blank verse in Shakespeare's Measure for Measure done by other three famous translators, the paper finds that the special nature of the dramatic blank verse is fully realized in Ying Ruocheng's work; the reproduction of its life and aesthetic characteristics is brought out, the audience's understanding was emphasized and the needs of the performers on stage was ensured.
