摘要
提出了动机在英语学习方面的重要性,分析了中国传统教育观对个体语言学习动机的负面影响,指出了只有注重激发个体语言学习动机,他们才能够在有利的学习环境下进行自主学习与增强创新意识。
This paper introduces the importance of a learner’s motivation on English achievement, analyzes negative effects of Chinese traditional cultures and educational values on language learning motivation, and proposes that cultivating and stimulating individuals’ language learning motivation enable them to exercise language learning autonomy and their creative awareness only in a favorable learning atmosphere.
