Being traditionally influenced by the feudal concepts in Chinese culture, different expressions of death are used for people of different social classes or status, different genders, and even people of different ages. With prevalence of Buddhism and Taoism, Chinese believe they will become immortals or nirvana who will not be subject to death. English versions are supplied for readers' references and critical comments.
