摘要
No matter admitted or not,we are in a globalizing world and the process of globalization has brought about and will continue to bring about major changes in many aspects of the world,including planning.As John Friedmann(2005)stated in his paper,Globalization and the Emerging Culture of Planning,that'Globalization,for one,is bringing about major changes in the institutional structure,processes,influence,and scope of planning.'Obviously,planners of today under the circumstance of globalization are facing greater challenges than their predecessors more than fifty years ago who mainly worked locally or domestically.
