QIU Hai-tang,as one of the representative works of popular novels in the 1940 s,was honored as'the first romantic novel of the republic of China'.The author QIN Shou-ou shows the human feelings towards the world from the perspective of the common people,carefully describing the modern society through the life experience of the actress QIU Hai-tang,expressing his calling for dignity in the family and nation,and presents the sad and happy human feelings.This works is of artistic and commercial value,bringing inspirations to the creation and development of modern genre novels.
