Enlightenment of Neo-Marxist Space Theory on China's spatial governance in large cities

运用新马克思主义空间理论分析了转型期我国大城市空间治理所面临的主要问题,包括空间生产过度、发展要素配置失衡、城市空间分化隔离、使用权争夺引发的社会冲突等。提出了以转变城市治理理念为前提,通过规范土地资本运营、增强规划调控作用、转变城市治理方式等手段来破解我国大城市空间资源配置中的体制机制障碍,以推动我国大城市空间治理能力的不断提升。

Using the perspective of Neo-Marxist Space Theory,this essay analyzes the problems of China’s large cities in spatial governance during the transformation period,including overproduction of space,imbalance of development factors,separation of urban space,and social conflict in space use rights.This essay argues that the improvement of China’s capacity for spatial governance relies on the breakdown of institutional obstacles in space resource allocation,which includes the conversion of urban governance principles,control of land capital operation,stronger planning regulation,and urban governance mode reform.
