The Monument for Liberation is a historic monument. It doesn't just reflect the history and culture of Chongqing,but also shows the culture and art of Chinese nation's fighting against aggression. In addition,it is also a landmark monument,which was made of blood in the fighting: the first time when it ignored the difference between classes,parties and individual. Although the architectural style and embossed calligraphy of the monument have several changes,and the present and the past of Chongqing in over half century have been represented. The monument shows the occurrence of great historical events and its artistic value to the world peace-loving people. Therefore,it is a concentrated symbol made by the artists and also the cross-century art of era in Chongqing.
