摘要
听力作为语言学习的四项基本技能之一,在英语教学中起着重要的作用。尽管自上而下与自下而上的听力模式很早就被提出,但是如何在教学中更为有效发挥它们的作用仍是有待探索的问题。阐述了自上而下与自下而上模式的概念及特点,并结合目前大学英语的教学情况提出如何在听力教学中更好地应用两种模式的建议。
Listening,as one of the four basic skills in acquiring language,plays an important role in English teaching. Although 'Top-down'and 'Bottom-up'models exist for a long time,it is still worth exploring how to better applying them to teaching practice. In this essay,the concept and characters of the two models were first of all clarified. Suggestions of better applying the two models to listening teaching were followed with consideration of the current situation of college English teaching.
