The Technological Spillovers of Foreign Direct Investment on the Chinese Manufacturing Industry

本文在行业生产函数的设定中,从生产效益方面设置自变量,并区分行业间和行业内的 FDI 技术外溢效应,使用中国制造业28个行业1995～2001年的 Panel数据对它们进行实证研究。主要发现是:样本期间,中国制造业 FDI 存在行业内技术外溢的负效应,但对整个制造业有正的效应,后者的作用大于前者。

The article sets the independent variables ac- cording to the production benefit in industry production function.Furthermore,the study distinguishes the in- terindustry and intraindustry spillover effects of FDI by using the panel data from 1995 to 2001 in 28 Chinese manufacturing industries.The main findings are:in the sample session,the effect of FDI in Chinese manufactur- ing industries on intraindustry is negative hut positive on the whole manufacturing industry and the positive effect outweighs the negative one.
