The Impact of Business Model on Firm Performance—— An Empirical Research Based on Apparel Industry

摘要 随着信息技术和管理科学的发展,商业模式日益受到关注。国内外学术界在商业模式的概念理解、体系构成以及评价方法等方面取得了一些比较有价值的研究成果,但相对而言,实证研究内容并不丰富,其中关于商业模式与企业间绩效差异关系的研究更是少之又少。本文基于对商业模式体系构成的分析,将商业模式按照价值主张、核心资源、利润保护机制和分销渠道四个维度进行分类,利用t检验衡量分类标准的准确性;同时使用ANOVA方差分析法对2011~2013年间中国服装行业上市公司的样本数据进行统计分析,以考察不同商业模式对于企业绩效的影响。结果显示:四维度分类较为合理;服装行业上市公司有6种主导的商业模式,不同类型商业模式的企业间绩效具有差异,这种差异主要体现在盈利能力和营运能力上。 With the development of information technology and management science, business model(BM) has become the focus. The academia has achieved some valuable researches in BM in terms of concept, system formation and evaluation methodology, etc. However, empirical studies are far from abundance. Furthermore, studies on the relationship between BM and firm performance are even rarer. Based on the analysis of system formation of BM, this paper classifies the business models into four dimensions and uses the t-test to examine the accuracy of the classification criteria. Meanwhile, it uses one-way ANOVA to analyze the data of Chinese listed companies in apparel industry during 2011 and 2013 so that the impact of different business models on firm performance can be examined. The study finds that the classification of BM into four dimensions is reasonable, and there are six kinds of business models in apparel listed companies which, however, have different levels of performances. Besides, the impact of BM on profitability and operation capacity is significant.
