<Abstrcat> The paper classified the wild plant resources of Inner Mongolia as edible plant resources,forage plant resources, medicinal plant resources,industrial plant resources, environmental plant resources,germplasm plant resources,endemic and rare plant resources, and cultural used plant resources.The term 'cultural used plant resources' is advanced firstly in this paper.It is an important way in exploitation of Inner Mongolian wild plant resources of which give full play to nationalities traditional botanical knowledge and regions superiority.
