城市规划作为城市发展和建设的指导 ,和经济发展目标有密切关系 ,也因此成为市政府关注的一项重要政府职能。当前 ,中国城市正经历着城市经济结构转型和调整的过程 ,而一些发达国家如美国的经济结构转型则已经基本完成 ,这些国家的城市发展的经验 ,尤其是在经济转型过程中城市规划的作用 ,也许可以为我国提供借鉴。

As conducting method of urban development,urban planning has close relationship with urban economic development goal,and has been an important governmental function valued by the municipal government. Now China has been experiencing the process of urban economic transition,which some developed countries almost have finished. The experiences of urban development in these countries,especially the role of urban planning in the process of urban economic transition,could be used for reference for China.
