Advance and Application of Knowledge-based System in Urban Planning

回顾和评价了1990年代以来,基于知识的系统在城市规划中应用的进展。首先概述在城市规划中使用基于知识的系统的障碍;然后从应用的途径、应用的领域两个方面回顾了十几年来相关研究的进展和现状。从应用的领域来看,基于知识的系统应用主要集中在交通规划、设施选址和开发控制等方面;从应用的途径来看,出现了基于知识的系统和GIS相集成、基于知识的系统和决策支持系统相集成,作为城市规划决策支持工具的应用趋势。

This paper reviews and assesses the advance of knowledge- based system (KBS) application in urban planning since 1990s. Firstly, some difficulties, which hinder the application of KBS in urban planning, are outlined. Then there is a review of current status of application approaches and application domains of KBS in urban planning. Current application domains mostly include transportation planning, facility location planning and development control. To application approaches, a trend has emerged that KBS and DSS as well as KBS and GIS have been integrated as hybrid tools for decision support in urban planning.
