Initiated by Phillips Academy Andover and joined by The High School Affiliated to Renmin University, Shanghai Datong High School and The Affiliated High School to Peking University Yunnan Experimental School, BASK is a summer study program concerning environmental issues for high school students. In this program, a new way of research(cross-country, cross region, cross-culture and crosssubject) is adopted to study the environment, ecology, and human environment of Yunnan province. Since it was launched two years ago, great achievements have been obtained and positive effects could be seen in both teachers and students from China and the United States. In order to further develop this program, we should build a cooperative partnership to better face challenges and facilitate future programs.
