On Strategies to Protect the Rights of Disadvantaged Groups

依法保护弱势群体权利是维护我国长治久安和保证经济社会持续发展的一个重要问题。加强和完善弱势群体权利保护,首先应完善弱势群体保护的立法原则;其次通过加强责任意识、减少执法空间、建立专门机构、树立企业责任等方面完善执法过程;最后通过完善具体机制、创新司法方式来推进司法改革,加强对弱势群体权利的司法保障。

It is critical to China’s long-term stability and sustained socioeconomic development to protect the rights of disadvantaged groups.In order to strengthen and improve the protection of the rights of these groups,a first step would be to improve legislative principles.Second,we can improve law enforcement by strengthening die sense of responsibility,reducing law enforcement space,estabhshing specialized agencies,cultivating corporate responsibility and so on.Third,with the improvement of specifically designed laws and enforcement,and being open to innovative ways to reach justice,we can promote judicial reform and strengthen the judicial protection of rights of the disadvantaged groups.
