互联网与国内区域市场整合:促进还是阻碍?——基于空间计量的实证检验 被引量:18

Internet and the Integration of Domestic Regional Markets: Promotion or Hindrance?——An Empirical Test Based on Spatial Econometrics

摘要 互联网具有促进区域市场整合发展的潜力,但现实中也存在着诸多可能使其产生'反作用'的因素。本文考察了互联网在国内市场整合中的双重性,并基于2003~2015年中国内地30省、区、市数据构成的空间面板模型进行实证分析。结果发现,互联网发展对本地市场分割的影响并不显著,且有可能加剧邻域市场的分割程度。其可能的原因在于,企业基于互联网与大数据技术实现精准化、差异化渠道管理来降低市场的竞争性,能够抵偿互联网通过降低信息'摩擦力'整合地区间市场的效果;并且,当地区间发展存在差异时,一个地区互联网基础设施的改善会带来资源的'虹吸效应',使周边地区为保持自身竞争力而阻止要素或商品跨区域流动。由此,未来应当更加理性地看待互联网在国内市场整合发展中的真实作用,进一步缩小互联网及相关物流设施建设的地区间差距,防范相邻地方出现'两极分化'。 The Internet has the potential to promote the integration of regional markets.However,there are many factors that may cause counteractions in reality.This paper adopts a spatial panel model to examine the duality of the Internet in the domestic market integration,using data from 30 provinces and cities in China from 2003 to 2015.It is found that the impact of Internet development on local market segmentation is not significant while may deteriorate the degree of segmentation in the neighboring market.It may lie in that by Internet and big data,enterprises can achieve precise and differentiated channel management to reduce market competitiveness,and can offset the effect of the Internet on integrating regional markets by reducing information friction.In addition,considering the differences in regional development,the improvement of the Internet infrastructure in a region will bring about the siphon effect of resources,so the surrounding areas tend to impede the flow of factors or commodities across regions in order to maintain their competitiveness.In order to prevent the polarization in neighboring places,it is better to hold a more rational view towards the real role of the Internet in the integration and development of the domestic market,and narrow the regional gap in the Internet and related logistics facilities.
