摘要
主要用排队论方法讨论了 Web集群整体性能与请求调度策略之间的关系 .所获得的结论是 :在 Web集群非过载情况下 ,一部分后端服务器仅处理静态请求而另一部分后端服务器仅处理动态请求的分离式调度策略要好于所有后端服务器既处理静态请求又处理动态请求的混合式调度策略 .用 SPECweb99测试工具所做的实际测试更进一步证明 :当负载参数为 12 0个连接时 ,采用分离式调度策略的 Web集群服务器可完成 6 3个连接 ,而采用混合式调度策略的 Web集群服务器仅能完成 36个连接 ,性能提高了 2 2 .5 % .
Discussed in this paper is the relationship between the performance of web cluster servers and the scheduling policies using a queuing theory method. The result is that the segregation scheduling policy, in which static requests are directed to some back-end servers and dynamic requests are directed to the other servers, is better than the mixture scheduling policy in which both kinds of requests are uniformly directed to all back-end servers. The tests through SPECweb99 further confirm that when the load parameter is set to 120 connections, the web cluster servers adopting the segregation scheduling policy can improve the performance by 22.5% with finished 63 conforming connections, while the ones adopting the mixture scheduling policy can only finish 36 conforming connections.
