摘要
很多过程,尤其那些包含了寿命和可靠性的数据都不是正态分布的。然而多数6西格码工具比如过程能力的分析却是以正态分布为前提的。只有通过验证数据的正态性和选择适当的数据分析方法得出的结论才会是准确的。本文讨论的是非正态问题并帮助读者了解几种非正态数据的分析方法。
Most Six Sigma and process capability tools assume normality. However, Most processes are not normally distributed. Only through verifying data normality and selecting the appropriate data analysis method will the results be accurate. This article discusses the non-normality issue and helps the reader understand some options for analyzing non-normal data.
