Development and Implementation of LAN Instant Messenger Based on SOCKET Programming Interface

Socket是TCP/IP协议的编程接口,即利用Socket提供的一组API就可以编程实现TCP/IP协议,而TCP/IP协议已成为Internet通信协议的标准,掌握SOCKET编程原理是网络应用程序设计人员的基本功。本文主要介绍用delphi语言及socket设计即时通讯系统的开发过程和方法。

Socket is the Programming Interface of TCP/IP, namely using a set of API, offered by Socket, programming to realize TCP/IP. While the TCP/IP has become the standard of communication protocol, and mastering the principle of SOCKET is a basic skill for network application programmers. This paper mainly introduce the developing process and methods of Instant Messenger, using Delphi and Socket.
