比较日、英国民性之保守性与革新性的共存

The Contrast of Japanese and British people’s Conservatism and Innovative Spirit

国民性是指一个国家或民族比较普遍的、居于主导地位的心态、倾向、潜意识。日本与英国作为和中国有着深刻历史渊源的两个发达国家,在自然地理、政治制度、历史发展等方面存在着许多的相似之处。深刻认识两国的国民性,对于正确处理与英日两国的关系以及增进民众间的了解是很有必要的。本文拟对日、英国民性之保守性和革新性的共存进行初步考察并分析其原因。

Nationality refers to the people’s common and dominant mentality, psychological tendency and subconscious and so on. As two developed countries which have profound historical ties with China, Japan and Britain has a lot of similarities in geographical environment, political system and historical development and so on. It is very necessary to properly handle the relations between Britain and China, and the relations between Japan and China, as well as increase the understanding between people. The paper aims to investigate and analyze coexist of people’s conservatism and innovative spirit in both Britain and Japan.
