面对当今市场经济环境和我国加入世贸组织后中医药学受到的现代医学诊疗技术的挑战 ,结合长期从事中医外科临床与研究的深切体会 ,对中医外科学如何与时俱进作理性思考后提出 :继承、整理、发掘历代中医外科文献是必须工作 ;直面疾病谱变化 ,坚定不移地依照自身规律弘扬中医外科特色是发展关键 ;立足临床 ,提高疗效 ,注重积累 ,加强临床与实验研究 ,不断提升学术水平是赖以生存的生命线 ;

In the case of economy market and TCMs challenges from western medicine after Chinas entry to WTO,the authors bring forth their views:It is necessary to inherit and develop the previous literature;with the changing disease spectrum,it is essential to treat external diseases according to the rules of Chinese medicine itself;it is vital to perform both clinical and experimental researches on the basis of clinical practice;however,modern technology is the important measure to develop Chinese medicine.
